kindly Thanks to Behzad for his great description, Damet garm!
I've visited this wonderful area at the April 2011. Unfortunately the government left the place to be destroyed. But lovely People who care about their city & Identity take care of the town...
Don't miss this amazing town when ever you travel to IRAN.

Thanks to Behzad for his great explanation.

Izadkhast is a town that is located in North Eastern Fars province and the castle is located just adjacent to the small ancient town. As Pars Province has been the homeland of both Achaemenids and Sassanids, you would normally see more of structures belonging to those historical eras. In this case, the architecture is distinctly Sassanid, the castle is constructed using baked bricks and dates back to 3rd to 6th century AD. No details are provided about this castle at the site, but the size of the castle (about 150m Lx 50m Wx 30-40m H) is breathtakingly magnificent.

What a place. I would suggest you add few lines of history of the place to make it more interesting. Technically speaking a stunning image.
