I just love your family photographs, Mary - what most interesting, besides the obvious resemblance, is the setting in these pictures - the homes in the background, the clothing, the smiles. Isn't it something how these people's spirits peek out at you as if they're only a step away?

Just got a few boxes of old photos from my mother to scan in. It's amazing how well they've held up through the years. One drawback of the digital age - much fewer old photos to hold onto for years and years. I never tire of looking at old photos. Great one you have here. :-)
