This eagle was about a football field away; the picture is about 15
percent of the original.

Update October 2004: hurricane Charley in August of 2004 took the nest
of this pair of Bald Eagles, as well as another nest in the same
area.. as of the end of October, neither pair had returned
to rebuild the nest....
