Here in late February, the cottonwood trees have dropped all of their leaves, offering a nice look at the structure of these common riparian trees along the San Pedro.
My favorite of your San Pedro River shots. Very nice composition! I like the dark blue sky against the white cottonwoods, and the light colored gravel along the wash edge, which parallels the white cloud in the sky and gives the shot balance. I like all the straight lines this photo has as well: along the river, along the top of the trees, along the bush row. Nicely done.
