The only way to see winter ice in North West Florida is to turn the sprinklers on during one of the few nights that temperatures reach below freezing. We had such a night in February. Because of unseasonably warm temperatures prior to this night the azaleas were beginning to bloom resulting in the flower buds being encased in ice. On my son's swing set were 12” icicles. It’s not often I get a chance to take photos of winter ice so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
