This was actually an easy shot. The wind was blowing about 30mph and he just kind of floated in one spot before he landed. Originally I posted this as a herring gull and while I'm still not sure, I think western/glaucous-winged hybrid is more likely. From the black still in the tail feathers I would guess a third year.
