Orb Weaver Spider

Benton Co., Washington

There are thousands of kinds of Orb Weavers. This is one. I think it is a male. Tomorrow the female, I think.
I am thinking there are just too many species of spiders and bees for me to attempt to figure out their scientific names.
Most times, I am fortunate if I can get the common name right. Realize, I have absolutely no education in this area, not even self-taught.
This leaves me spending hours on bugguide.net and other sites sorting through pages of photos looking for something like mine.
I can submit them for ID help, and often do, but they probably wouldn't be pleased with a dozen or so each time I shoot.
