Yep I live and work in bangkok and sometimes take the odd picture. I'm a bit short on ideas at the moment - I'm hoping something will change that. bangkok is full of surprises! How about you ? you seem to visit here quite a bit. You've got some fine pics from here.

Thank you. You have some great shots of Hawaii. I especially like what you did with your Chinatown gallery. It makes me want to go down and take some more photos of that area. Aloha

Yes, I realize that being NON partisan is a VERY unpopular thing to be these days. The Republicans claimed Clinton "wagged the dog" after he threw some bombs at Osama to cover up the Lewinsky scandal, and they tried to denigrate Max Clelland from Georgia by calling him, a triple amputee, a coward. Now I know a thing or two about amputees, being a Navy corpsman attached to the USMC back in the day, and I would never call anyone who served a coward, even if it was in the national guard.

However, the facts are the facts, and the Democrats are spewing the same sort of venom towards Bush. The quotes are acurate, but if each side continues to politicize EVERY issue, we will all be losers.

I don't mind people such as Ben Afleck having a different point of view that the President, or anyone else. His position was well thought out and respectful. I wish I could say the same about Bird, Kennedy, Pelosi, Goldberg, Moore et al. Their demeanor is disgraceful.

You have some very good photos as well. Keep clicking away! Aloha

YOu are a very good photographer. I love your work however your politics are a different story. Hee is what I answered you in my gallery
John I guess that they were wrong Bigtime. But why didn't Bush let the inspectors back in when they were supposed to. Remember WAR should be a last resort however according to everything you hear and read about BUSH wanted to go in after he was chosen by the supreme court. Now we are in a quagmire or as I would call it Vietnam 2. Before we went into Iraq we were one country and one world. Bush's campaign went on the premise that Bush was a united and not a Divider. I guess that's true because he divided our allies and United our enemies. So far almost every step that Bush took on the War on Terror blew up in his face. No plans, no ideas just war....rmember Mission accomplished? Bush said after we went in Iraq that he was on a crusade. Well, he got one and the billion of Muslims are against us. Bush sees things in black and white ... Either you are with us or against us. No room for debate. Remember Secrecy causes tyranny debate and dissent promotes democracy. BUSH messed up big time. If people can't see that I feel sorry for them. If Bush is elected for the first time in 2004 we could say goodbye to our Democracy

Thanks. You have taken some great shots with that D100. I want to upgrade soom myself, and in fact, recommended the new D70 to a friend of mine who already has a few Nikon lenses. Maybe we'll get a decent sunrise soon. The weather has been a little lousy (for us). Aloha

Hi John...

I enjoyed your photos of the marathon. After running it 22 times, I did not go this year. However, I will be running the Run to the Sun on Maui in March.

It's been nice paying you a little visit and enjoying some very well known and dear locations in the 'Gathering Place'. What I especially like about your images is the very simplified way that you title all of them. Keep shooting and bringing us the weather every morning as you do because I think that's a nifty idea. Mahalo!

No I am a non partisan who supports our troops and what George is trying to accomplish. I lived in NYC the first tine the Trade Center was bombed, so this is serious stuff.

Iraq is better off today, we will all be bettter off in 20 years.
