Dear Peter,
What a treat to see the mountain gorillas through your lens. You captured their spirit so well. I love that little guy who tried to get your photographic kit. Thank you.
Hi Saskia,Apologies for my late reply!Uganda seemed safe to me.At Bwindi you are only 6kms from the Congo border and hence there is a heavy military presence but they were nice guys! The people seem very friendly, too.I can't recommend going to see the gorillas highly enough-they are just magnificent.Glad you liked the pics.
Best wishes,Pete
Now you made my husband (just got married - getting used to the term :-) )very, very jeaulous... it is his dream journey to visit the gorilla's. You've made some wonderful sharp pictures of the whole journey! One question: how about the safety of Uganda? Maybe we'll go next year.
