Queensland State RC Helicopter Championship - hosted by TAA - Toowoomba Aeromodeler Association. 6th & 7th of September 2014. Some of these helicopters are worth over $5,000, just the carbon fibre canopy is up to $1,500. I was informed that once you have basic helicopter flying skills it takes another 7 years of practice before you are ready to think about competitions like this. Most of the pilots have been flying for 15 years or more.
