Another day, another festival. I stumbled upon this Yosakoi festival in Nikko, Japan. Yosakoi is a team dance to musical accompaniment, with dancers using wooden castanet-like Naruko. The only vaguely similar analogue I can think of is a Rock Eisteddfod. As usual at matsuri, there are a lot, bright colourful costumes, all ages get involved, and everyone has a ball.
