Spring is here - 2007

The day the swallows arrive is for me the sign that spring is finally here! This year it was late, April 19th. Usually they arrive 8-10 days earlier.
A favorite time of mine is early spring when the woodland wildflowers are blooming (see gallery under 'Spring Flowers') and the forest turns green. It's a joyous, wondrous and hopeful time - new life, new beginnings, all reasons to celebrate!!
