Great Blue Heron 1

I photographed this Heron while it was standing on a log fishing. I saw him capture about 12 fish in a span of 30 minutes. I took about 300 pictures. Ed Levin Co. Park, Santa Clara Co., CA.

Canon EOS 50D ,Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM
1/1500s f/4.0 at 400.0mm iso800. Shutter priority fill flash @ -1.0 with Better Beamer Flash Extender and Speedlite 580EX II in High Speed Sync mode. full exif
