Renee' and Julio this message isfrom Uncle Steve. I'm looking at some of your photos on one of your websites, Beautiful!
Julio, enjoyed my visit to your pages, some simply outstanding work here - thanks for sharing.
Very beautiful images that you have compiled here. Really inspiring stuff. Loved the shots from Argentina. I am really glad I bumped into you this morning at Shoreline. Happy birding :o)
Extremely nice stuff Julio (thinking particularly of the Galapagos galleries). We are booked to visit the Galapagos in November, and I've been wondering if I'm going to be happy with the gear I'm planning to take -- an Canon 5D (not the MkII), with a 24-105 and a 100-400. I can see that the 100-400 is giving great results, so find that very encouraging. I have an African wildlife gallery here on pBase, but didn't have the 100-400 at the time; I did find the 70-300 Canon IS lens I used to be quite nice, though the 100-400 would have been even nicer. I think my name on this message will contain a link to my site, which I'd invite you to visit sometime. Again, very well done! Doug
Many beautiful pics there Julio. I really enjoyed trawling your web site. I have been lusting after a 100-400mm for some time now, and this helps me make up my mind. To-date, I have been very happy with pics from my 30D with 55-250 mm Canon IS lens. Amazing bang for the buck with that lens, but does not have the reach of the 100-400mm.
Many thanks for this informative and enjoyable galleries of your home state. A most valuable for us who are planning a birding/photographing trip to California in the future. I'll come back to see more :-)
Great galleries, truly enjoy going thru your pictures.
I especially love your birds shots. I'll be back often.
You are presenting your galleries in a very appealing way, Julio.
Your results from the D80, various lenses, and the extention tube I've
seen thus far are very impressive. Welcome to the pbase community!

Thanks for the note in my guestbook. You have some nice pictures from locations that I like to visit, so maybe we'll see each other around.
