Locked Voice
7/13/05

Deaf people either do:

turn off their voices

use their voices and try to be understood.

Either way, our voices are never perfect like a hearing person.

Often times, either way, our voices feel "locked" or "stuck".

The key represents the inability to unlock the lock to have the ability
to speak perfectly.

I love the way you use photography to express your art. With so many Photographers or painters they get so focus on technique, they forget about the art, or the soul of the subject they are trying to convey. This is a powerful example of what happens when the two are balance. Wonderful work!

I love the way you were able to describe this so well with the photo. Amazing composition with spectacular lighting also.

Sometimes Im scared of using my voice when I meet new people. Only its because I dont know how I sound to them or how they will react when they hear my voice. Do you feel the same way?

Great job in describing it though!!

This is Beautiful.. like many hearing people do in ASL Classes... They "lock" their voices and throw away the key.
