You helped me find the "kitchen street" today. Thanks again -- I loved it! These photos are fantastic. I am very interested in the different faces of Japan, and you have quite an eye for character, expression and lighting.

Thanks for visiting my galleries and your comment. You also have some very good images here.
Julian, your images are very beautiful, it has been a pleasure viewing them.
very nice collection and great portrait. I will come back to check more photos.
You have great stuff here and I'm a little jealous to be honest.
I was directed to your site because I am doing a series of geisha paintings in watercolor. Your geisha photos are truly wonderful. I am curious if these are geisha or the tourists who come and buy the full geisha makeup and costume and then walk around the Kyoto district? I also wonder if you ever grant permission to use any of your images for references in other art mediums?
Many bravo for your great images, Julian.
From today you are in my favourite list so I can watch your works more often.
It's a real pleasure to know you and watch the beauty through your photos! Thanks!

There are some pictures that I would like to use on my site. Would you give me the permission to do so? I promise I'll provide a link back to your gallery.
Your gallery is truly magnificent! You have a gifted eye as well as a solid understanding of photography. I will return to view again and again.
your gallery is great, I like the photos very much. I'm fond of portait pictures.
I'm from Hungary, just "hobby photographer" also travelling a lot (Europe). (26 years)
I'm using a Canon EOS 3000N with 28-80 + 70-300 lenses. (And spend on films ISO 200 and 400) I'd like to upgrade to a D300 (this is the cheapest SLR, but good reputation)where I could use my lenses as well.
How much do they cost in your country. (USD or Euro)
Wonderful work. Congrats!
Do you remenber me? I've never thought your home page is such deep. I think doing what one wants to is amging too much.
Sorry for my wrong grammer. Ha Ha.
True Jewels. You've captured some very comtemplative faces amongst your Vietnam portraits. That's what impressed me the most. What are these people thinking?- It was so easy to be touched by their humanity and to have seen that it has not been washed away by modernity.
Truly love your photos. I have just looked at them briefly but plan to observe more tonight. I read on dpreview you have a fabulous sharpening plugin you use. If its not to much trouble could you please share? Thank you greatly in advance. Todd (email@example.com)
Thank you for visiting and the words , you're very welcome to visit my new galery: 2005 Lotus flower Festival ,Wuhan (China)which is my home town ! S Chen

I am very inerested in the possibility of discussing this with you via email.
