On October 30th 2009, the first day of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, my Granddaughter, Annie Braiden, was a torch bearer at Butchart Gardens, Victoria. In spite of a little rain when we first arrived, the clouds cleared away and everyone enjoyed a delightful afternoon.

Congratulations on a job well done Annie!!

February 13, 2010 - The cross-country journey of the Olympic Torch is now complete and the Winter Games have begun. Best of luck to the Canadian athletes!
