I'm Mark Conner-David Conner's (24 Apr entry) big brother. Margaret Small was my grandma. I spent a lot of ime on the Small farm near Springdale. Watt died 6 years before I was born. I knew Unle Homer quite well. He and I attended mant West Branch High School football games together in he early and mid-60s. I could always count on Homer buying season tickets from me and he'd pick me up in Springdale on his way from the farm to West Branch. I can also remember gathering eggs and butchering chickens with my grandma as a small boy in the 1950s. I grew up in the house pictured in Springdale from 1953 until I left to join the Air Force in 1967. Great memories.
David A Conner
My name is David Conner youngest son of Helen Irene Conner ( Small ) It was wonderful looking at your Photo's. My mother passed away in 1995 but my father Kenneth W Conner is 86 years old and in excellent health. I will show him your Photo's and he will probably be able to give me names of people I do not remember. The picture of the home you have in Springdale was actually where I was raised until the age of 6 yrs old. We moved to Florida in 1971. Thanks for posting really enjoyed.
I loved the photos of the old Shiloh Cemetery. Would you be able to give me directions to it as I will be traveling there in July? I would appreciate any help you could give me.

I love those golden fall colours in one particular photo especially.. really captured my attention. I love that photo! The photo of two wise gentlemen sitting on the sofa with their notebook computers made me chuckle, as I can very readily relate to such activity. I'll be shooting a bit in Louisville, KY in July- I'll have to keep an eye out for some of the places in your photos. If you have any questions about the 70-200VR lens + 1.7x converter.. I'll be more than happy to relate to you whatever information I know. Nice work you have here!
Big...you rock! I am so happy you are doing my wedding photos! I love you!
