As I was trying to figure out what to do on this Monday November 8th, I was approached by Steve who asked if I wanted to come on their boat. Without batting an eye, I said yes and joined Steve, Peter, Gary & Will on Will's boat Santana. When I got into their car I meet Olga and Silka two young girls from Netherlands. They seemed like fine men (reminded me of Uncle Franklin and his buddies - until they stripped down to their speedos!)
We spent the afternoon out at a sand cay that was also a bird reserve where most of the small isalnd belonged to the birds! We snorked and hung out anchored with some large angel fish and a giant trevally. Note: these photos in this album were all taken from the boat.
We also did a wee bit of fishing - the pole i was sharing did catch a fish - I think it was Dory. We reeled her in, took a picture, removed the hook and threw her back. Sadly she remainded floating upside down and I was devastated. I will never fish again (but alas, my sushi appetite is still quite healthy!
