The instructions falter with thw uase of the bidet-like hose. It or the mug should be used p approaching one's bottom from behind and the left hand so the waste goes down into the toilet bowl and not on the back wall.. Rinsing the entire area and flushing the debris down are good manners. Keeping the clothes out of the way is essential, and maybe its easier just to strip down and put your clothes out of harms way.

It would have been a joke for u about Indian toilets but watever its better than any other toilets bcoz India is great and Indians are Great.......

I work in India in a Senior Management position of a Software Enterprise. I was searching for instructions on How To Use A Western Toilet so that tie Indian employees could be given instructions, and viola I came across your site dealing with the same subject (toilet use) but the other way round! The Asian explanation is that the squatting position exerts pressure on the bowels and facilitates excretion. Sounds reasonable. However How to Deal with Your Dress ( Skirt or Trousers) is something that requires great attention. Admittedly there are less cases of constipation and relatted complications reported here than back home in the west.
