Trinity Church sits at the head of Wall Street on Broadway in Lower Manhattan. (And you thought the bull held court here!) The present day church is the third incarnation and is classic Gothic Revival architecture. Consecrated on Ascension Day May 1, 1846, it dominated the skyline of lower Manhattan. It is now surrounded by towering skyscrapers and sits less than a block from the WTC site.
The original burial ground at Trinity Church includes the graves and memorials of many historic figures, including Alexander Hamilton.
