World Trade Center Site - Lower Manhattan

All seven buildings were destroyed in the terrorist attacks of 9-11-2001: three collapsed, one was crushed by the collapse of Towers 1 & 2, and three were damaged beyond repair and later demolished. The PATH (train) station, whose lines ran beneath the structures, is fully operational and is at the same time being expanded.
