Must be the floor that houses the High Jumpers Association!

Try these stairs instead Jenene...

Designed by committee? Blueprints upside down? I agree with JD, it is disturbing.

Result of a remodelling of the building? Excellent find, but a disturbing one!

This took a bit long to grasp, Jenene. You have three key elements that must be immediately appreciated by the viewer in order for the image to express your idea effectively -- the figure on the steps, the sign, the door, and then of course, there is the clever title. The incongruous positioning of the door is the key, yet its odd placement is not readily visualized because of how the image is organized and exposed. The exit sign is not stressed, and the figure is obscured by shadows. You need more detail in the image, which would have strengthened the incongruous placement of the odd door in the wall, the visibility of the exit sign and the figure on the steps. If you lighten exposure and crop the image from the right, cutting down on the amount of wall that draws the eye away from the door, and changing the shape of the image to a stronger, narrower vertical, the exit sign would move into the upper right and corner and become more prominent. (I have downloaded your image, opened up the shadows and cropped the image, and will send you a copy. Hope it helps.)
