Keeper of the Fire no 2

It certainly gives it a different look. My first inclination is always to abstract something more - I'm surprised I didn't do this in the first place. I guess I had a certain outcome in mind, and then failed to make subsequent evaluations.

Canon EOS 5D
2s f/14.0 at 70.0mm iso100 full exif

A wonderful metaphor for the power of ideas.

I like it better too. It gives me a different feel. The earlier one looked as if you're being helplessly consumed by the fire, while this one really highlighted your beauty and warmth.

I agree, but then I knew it the minute Phil suggested the crop. I loved the idea of the image, and I thank those who've added their input so it became that much better. - J

I think I prefer this one as well. I really like how the flames and the hairs in the light are merging to form a glow around the head. Perfect exposure.

Glad you learned from this, Jenene. It is much stronger because it is more abstract, and puts greater emphasis on the profile of the beautiful model!

I prefer this one, but I can't tell why. Maybe because your presence seems more vivid.
