The composition is excellent. The almost B&W is just broken by the red light. The natural framing of the tree is really good. Excellent shot.

I feel this contrasts with, and compliments, "Toward Day's End" very well. This has 'natural' lines and 'man-made' movement, plus a subdued colour palette. Good capture.

Looks like you were lurking in the shadows for this.

I'm a great fan of these "monochromes in colour". You can always 'hear' a good image and the sound of the bike is very clear in my mind.

The mist made it atmospheric. The almost monochrome tone made it moody. Both worked very well with the single rider. It's a lonely ride down the quiet road, not knowing what lies ahead...

Dripping in atmosphere, this image shows the power of monochromatic color -- there are nuances and shadings of blue and green in here that would vanish if this were reduced to black and white. If your goal is to create a mood of loneliness here, the color does it, Jenene.

Thanks Kal, it's actually a full color image. The fog and mist were so heavy that morning on top of the hill, everything was a shade of gray - except his tailight!

Is tis processed as B&W or is it colour, but just so monochromatic...it's incredible Jenene.Fantastic image. K
