Just a stab, Jenene? If ever there was a waterscape, this must be among them. The contrast between the jagged black forms that anchor the image and the elegantly rhythmic flow of shimmering blue water is striking and full of tension. A powerful juxtaposition that speaks of permanence vs. impermanence, darkness vs. light, unknown vs. known. Well seen, conceived, and executed.
