Linear geometric form does not express ideas on it own, Jenene. Yes, there is diagonal thrust, and yes it has architectural feel and context. The reflections are effective parts of the composition. But the problem comes in expression. You are playing with design for the sake of design here, rather than with design for the same of a message, a story, an idea, an expression. Compare it to my recent image of a bridge which I just shot in Oregon last week at :http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/62019163 The geometry and architecture is there in my shot, but the use of light and shadow goes on to help it express an idea as well. In this case, its gothic architecture becomes a series of doors to the forest rising behind it, commenting on the spiritual dimension brought to the scene by both man and nature.
