Looking Forward

I am an optimist at heart and would like to think that all my collective experiences filed in the shadowed past give me the foundation to meet my future.

I think I've seen this watch in b&w, right? :)
I like the way that shadow falls there. If we are optimist, we can say that the light is winning, if we are pessimist we can say that darkness will take over.. Either way, time will never stand still.

You accomplish exactly what you set out to do here, Jenene. The clock becomes a symbol of past and future because of when and how you chose to photograph it. Your vantage point is superb. The design of the clock itself is timeless (pun intended) and evocative of a graceful and elegant future. One of your most expressive images to date, Jenene. I'm thrilled for you.
