I like the contrast here Jenene, the contrast makes the picture looks surreal. The contrast of scale, the contrast of old and young, the contrast of colour...
There is such adventure in this image - It is as if it is a metaphor for the life these two have ahead of them which is represented in the line of pillars leading off into the distance.
