It is a dangerous chess game that every civilization has battled, and sadly there are no victors in the end.

A very symbolic image with three key elements of conflict - religion, political power and the desire to expand business and the economy. People are missing from this image, but let's face it - they are simply pawns in such dangerous games....
One of your best, Jenene.

I love how you caught the flags in the pic as well. We are one nation under God but so many don't believe in God anymore. I love this image....speaks volumes to me!

This image eloquently repeats -- in sets of two -- symbols for the worlds of business, religion, and nationalism. And each set of symbols poses a contrast in style as well -- the business symbols are modern and massive, the religious symbol is ancient and delicate, while the national symbol changes at the whim of nature, and seems quite vulnerable in its transparency. Together, they create a culture.

The highest of all 3 (all 6) - economy, flag and church - is all a question of perspective!
