I wish I could show you more photos of our final race of the season - but I don't have any. On our first qualifying run, just after the launch shown here, the car in the other lane made a violent right turn, crossing into our lane and taking our car into the wall. Our driver, (my husband), was able to slow his car while Lisa rolled around and over him, helping her to slow as well. Both drivers were ok, with Lisa sustaining some bumps, bruises, a nasty swollen eye, and a very badly mangled racecar. She spent the night in the hospital - and we are all very grateful they're both still with us! With help from true friends, we were able to try to run the car the next day - after all, we were 7 points out of first place for the championship. Unfortunately, the front wing stabilizers were too badly damaged to be used, which rendered the car too unstable at high speed. We couldn't qualify to compete in the race.
