Autumn at the Delaware Water Gap

The Delaware Water Gap forms a portion of the border between Pennsylvania and New Jersey where the Delaware River cuts through a ridge of the Appalachian Mountains. The area is quite scenic and has been designated as a National Recreation Area administered by the National Park Service. The river is used extensively for rafting, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking and rock climbing. The Water Gap is a favorite attraction to tourists, especially during the fall season.
