The Quogue Wetlands Preserve is located on Dune Road in the Village of Quogue, Suffolk County, on the south shore of Long Island, New York. The preserve is a reservation of barrier island wetlands to be used for passive recreational and educational uses, including bird and waterfowl watching, nature photography and scientific research projects. The area is a beautiful natural landscape crossed by a boardwalk from Dune Road to the intra-coastal waterway between Quantuck and Shinnecock Bays. The flora in the wetlands and upland areas become quite vibrant depending on the season.
