The photographs in this gallery were taken at the Spring and Summer Show Series at the HITS-on-the-Hudson equestrian facilty located in Saugerties, New York. Since its inauguration in 2004, the HITS Saugerties horse show circuit has become a great attraction for East Coast competitors hosting a large variety of hunter/jumper horse shows. The facility is quite large hosting 14 barns, a series of schooling rings, lunging pads, two jumper rings, six hunter rings, a Hunter Stadium, a Grand Prix Arena, paddocks and other facilities. Stabling is provided for 2,000 horses and more that 250 different classes of competitions are offered each week during the season. On average, 3,000 horses, 2,500 horsemen and 2,500 spectators participate each season. The competitions culminate with a $1 Million Grand Prix in September.
