NGC 6928 Galaxy Group

NGC 6928 group of galaxies in Delphinus. NGC 6928, spiral galaxy type SB(s)ab, is the larger galaxy
at top center and NGC 6930 spiral galaxy type SB(s)ab at left of center, make up the larger members
of this group. The galaxy just on top of NGC 6930 is NGC 6930 NED001, and the two smaller galaxies
right of center are NGC 6927, and NGC 6927A. This group is also cataloged as WBL 663. Data taken
Aug 24 through Aug 28, 2011. Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10,
on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The L subframes were 12 minutes binned 1x1, while the RGB
subframes were 4 minutes binned 2x2 resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) =
360 : 64: 64 : 64. Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated, sigma combined in Iris with other processing
using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
