NGC 6045 (Arp 071) and part of Abell 2151 in Hercules. Taken June 9, 11 and 12, 2007 with a
DSI Pro II and Outback Cooler on a C8NGT (8" Newtonian f5). This is cropped and resampled
from a larger image of Abell 2151 see: http://www.pbase.com/jshuder/image/106325870
All subframes were 180 sec. The RGB subframes were also used to make synthetic L subframes
(sL), which were then used in the total stack of images to create the final L image resulting
in the following total exposures (L+sL):R:G:B (min) = (171+87):87:87:87. Color balance was
achieved via numerically scaled channels. Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma
combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ, PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS.
North is up.
