Sepúlveda and Gorges of the Duratón River

Sepúlveda is a Medieval town located at about 130 Kms North from Madrid. It was declared Historic-Artistic Site in 1951. The monuments and streets of Sepúlveda bear the mark of the Romanesque style, inherited from its period of greatest splendour, from the 11th to the 13th centuries.

A few kilometres from Sepúlveda is the "Hoces del río Duratón" Nature Reserve, where you will find the Hermitage of San Frutos.
