Papa, patata, potato, pomme de terre (Quito - Ecuador)

Imágenes tomadas el 30/06/2012 en la preciosa Plaza de San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) durante la celebración del Día Nacional de la Patata. Gran parte de las imágnes estan tomadas de fotos expuestas en la plaza, cuyo autor desconozco. Creo que son unas fotos preciosas para mostrar como homenaje a este alimento tan arraigado en la Cultura Andina.


Pictures taken the 30/06/2012 in the beautiful Square of San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador) during the celebration of The National Potato Day. Many of the photos were taken from images exposed in the square. I think they are beautiful photos to shown them as a tribute to this food so ingrained in Andean Culture.
