Yes, this is the one. They built two and a bass and gave them to Buck, Don and the bass player whose name escapes me at the moment. I don't know anything about Don's 67 but I know who would. That would be Mark Kendrick of the Fender Custom shop. You could no doubt have one master built by him or any of the master builers but would have to go through a Fender Custom Shop Master Dealer. Everything I've read about Buck's gold tele is that it was built in 1963. Is this the
same guitar? I'm also wondering if you have any information on Don Rich's 1967 Silver Sparkle Tele? Is there any records of the specs on that guitar? How would I go about getting one built?
