Rolen was a long time foster dog. He looks very serious in this photo, but he was very much a clown. I left on vacation, and as it seems to happen every time I leave on vacation, he was adopted. Somehow he was stolen from his home and ended up in a animal control facility in South Carolina. He was chipped and registered to our shelter, so they contacted us with the urgent plea to pick him up as his days were numbered. Of course my wonderful husband and I made the trip and within hours (well, it was a 12 hour drive one way) Rolen was back in Indiana.

What a rambunctious dog. I fostered him again and had to strap a dog backpack to his back loaded up with canned veggies to keep him from jumping on people. It was funny to watch him walk around. I hope he is doing well in his new home.
