Sucia Island Afterglow

Sucia Island Afterglow

From Sucia Island, the northernmost point in the San Island Archipelago. “Sucia Island Afterglow” was taken from the deck of a San Juan 34 sailboat that we chartered out of Anacortes, Washington. The image was taken shortly after the sunset. The higher mountain silhouette is Mount Baker on mainland Washington, and we are looking eastward at the “afterglow” still illuminating the atmosphere.

Well done! I love afterglow shots and you've done an excellent job with the available elements including the distant Mt. Baker!
