Mount Si is a most prominent mountain rising up from the Snoqualmie Valley, visible when heading east into one of the great passes through the central Cascade Mountains in Washington State. On a Sunday drive near Mount Si, with my family, I passed this scene and turned around and see it again. I parked the van with my family in it on the shoulder of this narrow road and walked back to photograph the scene. Brilliant red trees bordered a driveway leading to an upscale country home at the base of the mountain. See more mountain pictures (click)
