Another fine evening on Napili Beach, Maui, Hawaii. The island in the distance is Molokai. I am sure they experience many such sunsets, but this was one of the finest I had seen during my three weeks on this beach. Initially I wanted to use my telephoto on the sailboat to achieve a large sun setting behind but, as the sunset progressed I noticed the towering columns of clouds above the whole scene. I then switched to my wide angle to more completely capture the scene.
