First attempt and yes, room for improvement. Taken from my backyard.
Used Sigma 50mm - 500mm @ 500mm with 2x TC attached between lens and camera (Sigma SD1)
resulting in a focal length of 1000mm. Other settings were ISO100, f13, 1/40sec.
Lastly, I used a rock steady Manfrotto 058 tripod. Cropped to approximately 1/6th of entire frame.
This was taken from the southern hemisphere, so all you "northeners" be aware,
it's the "wrong way up", compared to where you view the moon.
