Texas Spiny Lizard (Sceloporus olivaceus)

Usually seen around trees, wood piles and the like. These guys get pretty big and will eat pretty much anything they can catch. Their favorites are grasshoppers, crickets and big fat roaches. A great lizard to have around. When I was a kid growing up in Arlington, I used to keep these for pets on occasion.
