Train Rolling Through The Carquinez Strait

The air is this dramatic color as this was taken mid-afternoon on 24 June 2008 - during the more 700 fires burning throughout northern California. The air was this color. My eyes were burning and my throat was dry and irritated. Scary stuff, boys and girls.

An interesting and yet scary picture. I've been watching all the fires out there. Wish we could sent some of the flood water from over here so that the fireman would have plenty to use. It must be a real hell, water to drink or water to put out fires! You have to use it both ways, and it seems there is never enough. Best of luck, and maybe stay inside. Take some indoor pictures for awhile.
