Mount Diablo (1173m / 3849 ft) visible through two of the three bridges spanning the Carquinez Strait - where it opens into Suisun Bay. These waters flow into San Pablo Bay, above San Francisco Bay.

The near structure is the rusted yet heavily utilized Southern Pacific railroad trestle. Just beyond is the newly opened highway bridge which carries the northbound traffic of Interstate 680 from the City of Martinez, California into the one time California State capitol of Benicia.
