Unique 'Share the Road'

view map

Dyerville Loop Road passes The Founder's Tree within 'The Avenue of the Giants' section of Redwood National Park. It then heads East out of the park. This photograph is of a railroad trestle loacted about four miles east of the park - along the north fork of the Eel River.

Rather than construct a culvert to take the water under the tracks - they engineered an aqueduct along one lane of the road. I can't recall ever having seen such an arrangement. Curious.

Very unique! Nice picture. Love the moss, it has been there awhile.
