A rare find

Ever since I am wearing bow ties I always wanted to have a non-adjustable one, to give it a more bespoke, high end look. I know of a place that makes those at reasonable prices. That will be my next "project".

But wait, before that happens I found these in the Turnbull and Asser shop (had to spell this one out, haha). Woven cotton NON-ADJUSTABLE bow tie in white. Well, white is a little hard to pull off because it looks a bit too formal sometimes. However, this is not impossible. May be I'll save this for a nice dinner party during the holiday season. This one is not on sale, but still rather reasonable. By reasonable I mean they are still way way cheaper than high fashion brand bow ties that charges a lot more at lower quality most of the time.

Note: Non-adjustable bow ties need to be sold in collar sizes. And they really need to be tried on. Different material will make the knot thicker or thinner, just enough to make it a little too tight or too loose. It only matters when one is wearing it on wing collars. So naturally nobody is stocking them.
