The musical organs that were initially installed in the Choir were those from the old Main Chapel, one large and one small, the work of the master organist Vincencio of Venice and completed on December 20, 1493. The eldest was placed where the tribune on the side of the Gospel and the little one, in the opposite rostrum, corresponding to the side of the Epistle. Another new one was built for this same side in 1628, with the master organist Martín Alonso de Aranda as its author. The current organ on the Gospel side is installed during the bishopric of Don Francisco de Alarcón, between 1658 and 1674, when for 14,000 ducats the acquisition of a new one for that place is contracted, being its constructor the Valencian teacher Miguel Llobt. In the contract, signed on March 17, 1666, it was established that the organizers contributed their work and skills, while the Cathedral Factory would provide all the necessary materials. The works lasted a little more than the eighteen contracted months, existing a record that still includes expenses in September of 1668. The settlement was signed on July 21, 1671, establishing in it Miguel Llop as the person in charge of its realization, who had counted with the collaboration of Bartolomé de Mendigutia, who built the organ box.
